Blog Anniversary

Last year at this time, I was pretty excited about the idea of having a blog. Now I just need to make the time to write in it. Well, sorry I missed saying it on the day, but Happy Belated Birthday, "All Sorts of Times in Journalism." I'm still indeed a journalist, as I was when I started this blog, and I've been freelancing for The Jewish Advocate and several other papers on occasion. My latest article, which will come out tomorrow, is on last Saturday's concert by fellow Jew Billy Joel and his band that I had the pleasure of attending with my friend Lena. I think it was appropriate Joel didn't sing "New York State of Mind." I bet he'll have plenty of chances to do that in the Big Apple in Madison Square Garden, where he's performing some six or seven times in the next month.

For now I'm off, but it's good to be blogging again.
